Sometimes we tend to get bored with drinking water and want a change of taste. That is where alternatives like beverages, natural juices, electrolyte solutions, etc. come in.

To increase hydration levels in the body, it’s important to consume fluids that effectively replenish water and electrolytes. Here is an exciting list of liquids that you can have to feel hydrated and energetic.

Electrolyte solutions

These include liquids designed specifically to replace electrolytes lost through perspiration, like sports drinks or oral rehydration products. They have sodium, potassium, and magnesium electrolytes, which help the body absorb and retain fluid.

Coconut water

How can I add a new drink type in the WaterMinder app?

In this section, let’s understand how you can add a new category of liquid and the consumed quantity. The steps are as follow-

Step 1- Go the settings menu

You can go the settings menu and the following screen will appear-

Step 2- Go to the other drinks menu

When you will go to the other drinks menu, the default list will appear as under-

Step 3 -Add the drink type

When you scroll down the list, you will see the “Add” option. Click on the Add button and the following screen will appear-

Here you can add the name of the drink and the hydration impact. Further, you can set the icon and color of the drink.

Step 4- Add the quantity consumed for the drink

Next, you can select the added drink from the menu and add the quantity. Check the image below

The added record will reflect in the history as under
